The most important quality required by a leader to possess is emotional intelligence. This is because there can be proper communication style and empathy applied by leaders by the application of emotional intelligence on followers (MacCann et al., 2020). Thereafter, there must be the qualities of patience, understanding, flexibility, approachability, integrity, honesty, morality, ethicality, responsibility, expertise, work-experience, etc. present in every leader. The expertise of leaders must be in subject matter taught by the leaders to the followers.
